A great neighbourhood pub with delicious schnitzel. There is a non-smoking room (you'll still smell a little smoke) and happy patrons. The other guests smiled with us and said their hellos and goodbyes. Relaxed and casual atmosphere and inexpensive.

Everything was just great. Delicious, cheap, friendly, authentic AND fresh beer. The only drawback, no veal Wiener schnitzel.

Food is nice, but "Cash Only" without a warning essentially killed the experience.

An indescribable atmosphere of local color and fun. Generous Austrian cuisine, huge portions, friendly staff. Authentic wooden interior. Location - at the foot of the majestic church, inside the courtyards, away from the tourist trails. A great find for gourmet and tourist.Of the minuses - inside smoke. But there is a separate non-smoking room.Prices are very democratic.It will be remembered for a long time.

This is a restaurant recommended by locals and there are relatively few tourists.The pork cutlet is thin and tender, it won't be too much, and the pork chops are very tasty. It's very good.Austrian soda almdudler is very good ~However, it was a pity that the price of the previous day was up. The pork cutlet rose from 7.9 euros to 8.60 euros.

This place is cash only, but we were not warned about it until we got a check. Overall, we had a very unpleasant experience due to a rude host. Absolutely not recommending this place.

Menu of the soup day, second course 2 to choose (schnitzel) 7-8Euro (February 2020). Tasty. The interior design of the place remembers the old days, which is an advantage in this case. Free atmosphere, peace. Plus a cold beer, a perfect break in exploring the city. Easy to reach by tram on lines 0 and 1, from the 100m stop.

Such fantastic food! Friendly service! Reasonable prices. I just wish they had better seating for non-smoking, better yet, no smoking, at all :) . The Specklinsen is so good, but then after tasting many of their dishes, everything was great (including the friendly service).

The waitress was alone, but she was punctual and kind. The cutlet was very good and lived up to expectations. The restaurant offers vegan and vegetarian meals, all at a good price not too expensive. There is a separate smoking room.

Great place close to school designed by the same architector who designed Wiener Rathaus. Tasty dishes in typical Austrian restaurant, low prices. You can feel original Austrian atmosphere here. Strongly recommended place.

Great homely food and Martin was friendly and gave us good advice on the local wine. Can certainly recommend it for genuine Austrian food.

Friendly service and not a touristy place. They were kind enough to give us a table without reservation. The food was very tasty. The soup was saltier than we are used to, but that is something common in Europe.

The climate of the 80-90s. Food great. Not as cheap as you can read in travel blogs.

Great place to go for a cozy dining environment. We all had different items and we all very much enjoyed the food and soup. Dinner for 3 including drinks was ~40 Euro, so very affordable. There is a smoking section, so be aware of that, and resident dog hanging out. We got the English menus, and had some fun reviewing the quality of translation, just minor issues but it was worth a laugh!
